For a correct installation of PhotoAlbum unpack the following archives into the same directory: 3CaDo_BASE.lha is the basic archive from ViCaDo, AiCaDo, DiCaDo, Photo-, and EpisodeAlbum. ViCaDo_TOOLS.lha contains a few console programs needed by PhotoAlbum. ViCaDo_DATA.lha contains some data files used by PhotoAlbum. PhotoAlbum_PROG.lha contains only the PhotoAlbum (executable). PhotoAlbum_TOOLS.lha contains most of the console programs needed by PhotoAlbum. PhotoAlbum_DATA.lha contains most of the data files used by PhotoAlbum. Optionally you coul'd install ImageEditor (anywhere). A manual Assignment of "PhotoAlbum:" is not necessary, since the program always assigns itself at startup and also unassigns itself before quiting. Unfortunately I was not able (busy) to finish the help files for PhotoAlbum. Therefore here a few not immediately evident possibilities. A practical feature of the Mac Operating System is for the first time integrated: Doubleclick on a project icon starts not a copy of the program, but sending a message to the currently running program. This behaves thereby exactly the same as if one would have opened the project file via "Project/Open". All "UP" - and "Down" buttons support the quallifiers "SHIFT" (moves 10 entries up/down in list) and "ALT" (jumps to start/end of list). Each tabulator page own's an individual service menu. If an error occurs during operation which the program can not intercepted, then before exiting the program still another file is produced. Please send the file 'ram:PhotoAlbum.error' as email attachment to youcan[at]gmx.net. If possible, include a short description of circumstances. Good Luck Christian Effenberger
